Mark Ellison is the editor of ArmedForcesBenefits.org. He is an independent editor who collects published military fitness and pay documents, copies their tables into data files, and checks every calculator on the site against those files.
What he does on this site
He finds the current version of each source document, records its number, effective date, and link, and copies the scoring or pay table line by line. He then writes test cases from the same document and checks that each calculator returns the value printed in the table before a page goes live.
When a branch publishes a new order or chart, he updates the data, records the change in the site's change log, and only then changes the page's "Updated" date.
What he is not
He is not a service member or veteran, not a recruiter, not a fitness trainer, and not a financial or tax adviser. The site does not offer training plans, career advice, or recommendations on pay or retirement choices. It reports what the published documents say and does the arithmetic they describe.

Corrections, broken links, and newer versions of a source document are welcome. The address is on the contact page. A correction is most useful with the document number and the page or table where the difference appears.
