USMC PFT Calculator (2026 Combat Arms Standard)

Enter your age, sex, PMOS, and results for pull-ups or push-ups, the plank, and the 3-mile run or 5,000-meter row. The calculator scores each event, shows your class, and checks the 210-point combat arms standard that took effect on 1 January 2026.

How a PFT score is built

The PFT has three events, each scored from the tables in MCO 6100.13A: pull-ups or push-ups, a plank, and a 3-mile run or 5,000-meter row. The three scores are added for a total out of 300. You need at least 150 to pass, and missing the minimum in any one event fails the whole test.

The minimum in each event earns too few points to pass on its own, so the order says you must earn extra points in at least one event to reach a third-class score.

The 210-point combat arms standard

Since 1 January 2026, MARADMIN 613/25 scores Marines in combat arms PMOSs on the male, age-normed tables, regardless of sex, and requires a total of at least 210 points. Every other Marine is still scored on the table for their own sex and age group.

A Marine in a combat arms PMOS who passes but scores under 210 by the end of the reporting period goes on remedial physical training and may face PMOS reclassification or promotion restriction. The MARADMIN says no adverse or punitive action will be taken until further guidance is published.

Which PMOSs count as combat arms

MARADMIN 613/25 paragraph 4.d lists 32 PMOSs, from infantry and Marine Raiders to field artillery, combat engineers, assault amphibian crews, and explosive ordnance disposal. If your PMOS is not on this list, the calculator scores you on the table for your own sex.

What the male table changes for women in combat arms

The male tables ask for more repetitions and faster times at every age. A woman aged 24 who does 12 pull-ups earns 100 points on the female 21–25 table, because that table tops out at 11, but 63 points on the male 21–25 table that applies in a combat arms PMOS.

The plank is the exception. MCO 6100.13A uses one plank table for every Marine, so the plank score does not change between the two standards.

Why push-ups cap your score at 70

The push-up tables stop at 70 points for every age and sex, while pull-ups go to 100. A Marine who chooses push-ups can score at most 270 on the PFT, so a perfect 300 requires pull-ups. The cap comes from Table 2-2 of MCO 6100.13A.

The calculator shows the points you would need from the run and plank to reach each class with your chosen upper-body event.

Plank and the end of the crunch

The abdominal crunch was discontinued on 31 December 2022, so the plank is the only midsection event. One table covers every age and sex: 3 minutes 45 seconds earns 100 points and 1 minute 10 seconds is the 40-point minimum. Holding longer than 3:45 still scores 100.

The plank table on this site comes from Table 2-4 as reissued in MCO 6100.13A CH-5 on 28 May 2025.

Testing at or above 4,500 feet

Units testing at 4,500 feet or more above sea level use the altitude tables in MCO 6100.13A. On these tables, every 3-mile run time is exactly 90 seconds slower than on the sea-level table for the same points, and every 5,000-meter row time is 40 seconds slower.

Check the altitude box in the calculator only if your PFT is held at that elevation. The order also directs commands to give Marines a 30-day acclimatization period before an altitude PFT.

The 5,000-meter row option

Marines aged 46 and older may row 5,000 meters instead of running three miles. Younger Marines may row when a health care provider recommends it for a medical condition, or when postpartum with approval from their commanding officer. The row is scored on its own age tables.

On those tables, each female time is exactly three minutes slower than the male time for the same points in the same age group.

Times between table rows

The run tables list times in 10-second steps and the row tables in 5-second steps. This calculator gives you the points for the first listed time you met, so an 18:05 run for a man aged 21–25 scores as 18:10, which is 99 points.

Rowing times are rounded to the nearest whole second before scoring, as MCO 6100.13A directs: 22:08.6 becomes 22:09, and 22:08.5 becomes 22:08.
